For anyone planning to come, whether you have or have not bough a ticket, here is a long list of useful information:

Ladies and gentlemen,

Polish your cutlery and rinse that mug- the Antic Banquet is imminent! We hope you are as excited as we are about three days of frolicking, rollicking, and proper stark bollocking. The hog roast is happening! Absinthe jellies are happening! The trinketree woods are possessed by beauty! We are so ready to party and miraculously the forecast is for three days of sun so tie yourself in a knot of crossed limbs and get ready to bounce, crouch and twirl. We have plenty of amazing food and music to feed mouths and fuel legs so if you haven't yet dragged your family and everyone you know with you get on the phone to them now. Its never going to be like this again because this banquet is built on a one-off tsunami of blood, sweat and tears of laughter. Ride the wave while you can and get everyone else on board- extra guests of ticket holders can buy tickets at the gate.

This text hopefully contains all the information you need for a nutritious festival experience. Sorry its been long in coming but the morse code from Norfolk HQ was a bit crackly. If anything is missing please get in touch with the anticestablishment@gmail.com.

TRANSPORT:
There are regular trains to Norwich from London Liverpool Street, Cambridge and Peterborough. The journey takes about 2 hours. Some departure times from London are:
Thursday 17.00 (arr 18.39), 19.00 (arr 20.57)
Friday 12.00 (arr 13.52), 18.00 (arr 19.58)
Saturday 12.00 (arr 13.52), 18.00 (arr 19.52)

There are buses from London Victoria which are slower and cheaper. The main departures are:
10.30 (arr 13.35)
13.00 (arr 16.05)
15.00 (arr 18.35)
18.30 (arr 21.30)
21.30 (arr 00.15)

We have given these departure times so that if you are travelling on your own you can aim for one of these and share a taxi from Norwich. Whichever station you are travelling to, we have cut a deal with the devil's own taxi's 'Bestway Cars' on 01603 666 666, to do £15 flat rate to the festival. If you give them a ring half an hour before and mention the Antic Banquet they should be waiting for you with a muddy red carpet.

If you are driving from London take the M11 out of London, then the A11 to Norwich. When you hit the Norwich ring road take the A47 towards Swaffham. Turn right at Hockering and follow signs towards Lenwade. Turn left into Lenwade when you hit the A1067, and just before you drive out of town take the right turn called Heath Lane immediately opposite the Lenwade Country House hotel. Follow this road until you come to a T junction, turn left, and the entrance is 300m on your left. Whichever direction you are coming from, look out for knives and fork signs in Lenwade, Reepham and Great Witchingham.

If you have space in your car and would like company please put your journey on liftshare.org so that some bonnet surfers can join you.

ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE: The site opens at 6pm on Thursday night and closes at 3pm on Monday the 15th. Willing hands are welcome to stay for pack down so if you would like to get involved let us know.

TICKETS: As you will have noticed we are not doing paper tickets. We will have a database of all your names at the gate so please just bring some ID or DNA samples to confirm your identity and the magic door will open.

BANQUET: the antic banquet itself will take place from 3-6pm on Sunday afternoon. Fancy dress is encouraged. Please come as whatever you would like (though if you are struggling, ‘wildlife’ might be a good starting point). Please brace yourself for the banquet by bringing your own cup, plate, knife and fork. All soundsystems will stop during the three hours of the banquet, and will resume at 6pm. There will be a mass photo opportunity just before the banquet so feel free to bring cameras if this is something you would like!

MUSIC: there are three main music venues: the SUSPENSE tent, bringing you a near-continuous stream of beautiful live music, spanning reggae, hiphop, gypsy, ska, jazz, calypso, live drum and bass and more; the DANCE DOME bringing you a healthy dose of cutting edge dance music, including dubstep, breaks, jackin house, minimal, jungle and many other permutations; and the ANTIC STUDY, which will host intimate live performances from folk and acoustic artists, as well as poetry and jam sessions.

HOURS: the SUSPENSE TENT and DANCE DOME will run
Friday 12-3am
Saturday 12-3am
Sunday 12-12 (banquet break 3-6)

WHAT TO BRING: in order to minimise wastage, all guests are invited to bring their own cups/ drinking flagons, as well as their own plate, cup, knife and fork for the banquet itself. Kids are welcome but we don't have a creche so be prepared to keep an eye on them. Please don't bring any glass bottles onto site and minimise the plastic and packaging waste that you bring. There is a limited supply of firewood for your own campfires as long as you are happy to drag it from the woodpile.

LOCAL SERVICES: There is a good greengrocers and butchers in Reepham, otherwise the Asda on the A1067 in Norwich is the closest big supermarket. Make sure you leave space in your bellies for the Coyote Cafe, Passing Cow's organic beef burgers, and the sunday feast.

Let's munch!
